this weekend was an interesting one. I had a cobblestones show on saturday where Miss Ayres informed us that the school board and the superintendent are trying to fire her becuase we are not holding our big christmas show in Troy this year. Well the reason we're not holding it in Troy is because our old auditorium is being turned into our library and our new auditorium isn't finished yet. So Miss Ayres's church in towanda offered to host us. So a week before the show, Miss Ayres gets a letter stating she needs to cancel the show or she will be fired. And that would mean no more cobblestones. Lets just say we are all pretty pissed. Oh and did I also mention that the superintendent is Seth's dad. Yea, i took that has a personal blow. I can't believe he would try to do something like this. So after the show Seth and I went to walmart, with his dad. Yea, talk about a wonderful car ride. I kept my tongue for the most part, tho i did hint as much as possible that i knew about the situation and wasn't happy, without coming right out and saying it. Today, we had two more cobblestone shows. We decided that we are gunna have another show in Troy. It will actaully be after Christmas but its first week that we can do it. I mean we can't just say we are gunna have a concert and expect ppl to show up.

Yea so this weekend I found out that if the school gets their way. I will no longer have cobblestones. I group that I love and have worked hard in for four years. A group that I have become pretty much the leader of. Yea talk about a major blow that i never expected

Coincidence acts in evil ways sometimes...his dad is the superintendent? That's crazy bad luck :( Is cobblestones an extracurrical thing, or is it a school choir? Because otherwise I don't see how the superintendent could dictate cobblestones...

But I can really relate. I'm not sure if you know, but just last year the jump rope team that I'm on disbanded. I knew it was coming...but it was still really hard. I reallly hope you can hang onto cobblestones, because I know what it's like to lose it...or something like it at least :(
